
The retail price of a 12-kg liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder has been raised by Tk 19, setting the new price at Tk 1,478 for February, according to the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC).
During a press briefing at its office today, BERC announced the updated pricing structure for bottled LPG. Under the revised rates, LPG will now cost Tk 123.16 per kg, with prices for cylinders of varying sizes—from 5.5 kg to 45 kg—adjusting proportionally.
In addition, the price of auto gas has been increased by Tk 0.47 per litre, bringing it to Tk 67.74 per litre.
