
The process of collecting data for updating the voter list ends today (February 3).
From February 5, the next phase will begin, including taking photographs, fingerprints, and iris scans. This process will continue until April 11.
The Election Commission (EC) started collecting data for the voter list update on January 20.
Senior Assistant Secretary of the EC, Md Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, stated that the data collection ends today, and from February 5, the next phase will commence.
Required Documents for Voter Registration:
17-digit online birth certificate.
Copy of nationality or citizenship certificate.
National ID of close relatives (parents, siblings, etc.).
Copy of SSC/Dakhil or 8th-grade certificate (if applicable).
Copy of utility bill (electricity, gas, water/guard receipt, etc.).
Things to Keep in Mind While Registering as a Voter:
Ensure that your name, parents' names, and date of birth are correctly written (be mindful of proper inclusion in the voter list).
The date of birth must match the birth certificate or educational certificate.
