PIMS Hospital India Promises Advanced Care for Bangladeshi Cancer and Critical Patients at Affordable Costs

DHAKA, April 17, 2026 – India’s PIMS Multi Super-Speciality Hospital has announced a specialized commitment to providing advanced treatment for cancer and other life-threatening diseases to patients from Bangladesh.

During a press conference held today at the Dhaka Reporters' Unity (DRU), the hospital's senior leadership pledged to bridge the gap between world-class surgical technology and financial accessibility.

    High-Tech Treatment for Critical Conditions

Addressing the media, Dr. Quresh Bambora (Director – Onco Surgery Services) and Dr. Kamal Kishore Bishnoi (Director – Gastrointestinal Surgery Services) emphasized that PIMS Hospital, located in Udaipur, Rajasthan, is now a primary destination for complex tertiary care.

The hospital offers cutting-edge solutions for:

    • Complex Cancers: Using precision tumor mapping and minimally invasive "keyhole" surgeries to ensure faster recovery.

    • Critical GI Disorders: Specialized HPB (Liver, Pancreas, and Biliary) surgeries that are often difficult to access.

    • Holistic Rehabilitation: Utilizing their integrated medical university ecosystem, which includes Physiotherapy, Nursing, and Ayurvedic sciences, to provide a 360-degree recovery plan for critical patients.

    Affordability and Specialized Support

A major highlight of the briefing was the promise of cost-effectiveness. The PIMS management noted that by being located in Udaipur, they can offer the same high-end technology found in major Indian metros but at a significantly lower cost, making it a viable option for Bangladeshi families.

Anita Ray, International Affairs Manager, outlined several promises specifically for the Bangladeshi community:

    • Priority Access: Dedicated help desks for Bangladeshi patients to ensure zero waiting time for critical surgeries.

    • Logistical Ease: Assistance with medical visas, documentation, and local accommodation for attendants.

    • Continuous Care: A robust telemedicine follow-up system so patients can consult their surgeons from Dhaka after returning home.

    A Trusted Academic Foundation

The experts highlighted that because PIMS operates under a full-scale Private Medical University, patients benefit from a research-driven environment. This academic rigor ensures that the treatment protocols for critical diseases like cancer are constantly updated according to global medical standards.

The event concluded with a Q&A session where the doctors reaffirmed their goal: to ensure that no critical patient in Bangladesh is deprived of world-class surgical intervention due to high costs or lack of specialized facilities.

    Contact for Treatment and Inquiries

For appointments, medical opinions, or logistical assistance, patients and their families may contact the hospital directly through the following official channels:
