NTRCA Faces Protests Ahead of Massive Recruitment Drive as Unqualified Candidates Demand Justice

The Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) is set to launch one of the largest teacher recruitment drives in recent years, aiming to fill over 100,000 teaching positions in private educational institutions.
According to the sources, the recruitment circular is likely to be published in a couple of days. The examinees from various batches are learnt to have decided to wage a movement today (June 16, 2025).
Besides, the recruitment move has been met with frustration and protests from aspirant teachers who had appeared in the most recent NTRCA examinations but were declared unqualified.
Alleging irregularities and a lack of transparency in the examination process, these candidates have launched a movement demanding the immediate resolution of their result disputes.
To press home their demand, the unqualified examinees gathered in front of the National Press Club in capital Dhaka on June 15, 2025.
Talking to The Reporter 24, they said, "Our hearts are broken. We performed well in the exams, yet we were unfairly marked as unqualified. We are demanding justice."
The aggrieved candidates are urging the NTRCA to postpone the recruitment circular until their grievances are addressed. They claim the current system lacks clarity and fairness, and they fear their exclusion from the recruitment process could have long-term impacts on their careers.
NTRCA officials have yet to respond publicly to the allegations or the demand for halting the circular. With the recruitment drive looming, tensions continue to mount among thousands of hopeful teachers across the country.
