Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky is set to arrive at Downing Street on Monday for high-level discussions with Britain, France and Germany, as European partners coordinate their response to growing US pressure for Kyiv to accept concessions in potential peace negotiations.
Zelensky, along with French and German leaders, will join UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer at No. 10 to push for any future agreement to include strong safeguards against renewed Russian aggression.
The London meeting comes after three days of talks in Florida, where Ukraine’s chief negotiator urged revisions to a US proposal that many view as leaning toward Moscow’s demands.
While Washington and Kyiv described the discussions as constructive, US President Donald Trump openly criticised Zelensky on Sunday, claiming the Ukrainian leader “hasn’t read” the draft plan.
