Trump Issues Ultimeatum to Iran: Threatens Total Destruction of Infrastructure by Tuesday Night

WASHINGTON D.C. — President Donald Trump has issued a stark ultimatum to Tehran, vowing to "decimate" every bridge and power plant across Iran within a four-hour window on Tuesday night if a deal acceptable to the United States is not reached.

Speaking at a White House press conference on Monday, Trump set a firm deadline of 8:00 PM ET Tuesday (1:00 AM BST Wednesday). He warned that failure to capitulate to U.S. demands—which include the "free traffic of oil" through the Strait of Hormuz—would result in the complete demolition of Iran’s civilian infrastructure, effectively sending the nation "back to the Stone Ages."

"Every bridge in Iran will be decimated by 12 o'clock tomorrow night," Trump stated. "It will happen over a period of four hours if we want that to happen."

While the President claimed he does not "want" to destroy the infrastructure, noting the high cost of potential future reconstruction, he emphasized that the U.S. is prepared to follow through, citing the demolition of Tehran’s largest bridge last week as proof of intent.

Russia Reportedly Providing Iran with Israeli Targets as Trump Warns of "One-Night" Takedown

WASHINGTON D.C. — Tensions in the Middle East have reached a critical flashpoint following reports that Russia is providing Iran with specific Israeli targets, just as U.S. President Donald Trump warned that the entire country "could be taken out in one night."

During a high-stakes press conference at the White House on Monday, April 6, President Trump, flanked by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, dismissed Iran’s latest ceasefire proposal as "not good enough." He reaffirmed that the Tuesday night deadline is final, cautioning that if a deal is not reached, a massive strike on Iranian infrastructure will commence at 20:00 ET.

"Easter Miracle": U.S. Pilots Rescued with Israeli Help

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee praised the "brilliant operation" carried out by U.S. Special Forces to rescue two Air Force crewmembers whose plane was downed in Iran last week.

    • Strategic Partnership: Huckabee met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to express gratitude for the role of the IDF and Mossad, whom he described as "helpful partners" in the mission.

    • "Easter Miracle": In a social media post, Huckabee hailed the successful extraction—which brought every American home safely—as a testament to the "courage and precision" of the U.S. military.

    Escalation on the Ground

While the rescue was a tactical success, the broader conflict continues to intensify:

    • Iranian Casualties: The semi-official Fars news agency reported that four Iranian Army ground forces officers were killed on Sunday during a military operation to counter U.S. aircraft in the Isfahan province.

    • Strategic Strikes: The IDF has reportedly targeted Iran’s largest petrochemical plant and multiple airports across Tehran.

    • Home Front Readiness: In response to the heightened threat of retaliation, the IDF Home Front Command has extended siren warning times across Northern Israel to give civilians more time to reach shelters.

    The Russian Factor

Intelligence reports suggesting that Russia is actively assisting Iran by providing coordinates for Israeli targets have added a dangerous new dimension to the war. This development comes as the U.S. military ramps up its volume of strikes, with Defense Secretary Hegseth noting that "tomorrow will be even heavier" if Tehran does not meet the President's demands.

As the clock ticks toward the Tuesday night deadline, the international community remains on edge, with the U.S. administration maintaining that "everything has been thought out" for a potential large-scale demolition of Iran's civilian and military infrastructure.

Trump Threatens to Jail Reporter Over "Leak" as Iran Rejects Ceasefire Proposal

WASHINGTON D.C. — President Donald Trump has significantly escalated his rhetoric against the media, threatening to imprison a journalist over the "leak" of sensitive information regarding the rescue of two U.S. airmen in Iran. The threat comes as diplomatic efforts hit a wall, with Tehran formally rejecting a U.S.-backed temporary ceasefire in favor of a permanent end to the war.

    Crackdown on Media "Leaks"

During a briefing at the White House, the President revealed that authorities are aggressively pursuing the source who disclosed that a second airman remained stranded in Iran after the initial rescue of his colleague.

"We’re going to go to the media company that released it and we’re going to say: ‘National security—give it up or go to jail’," Trump stated. This move marks a sharp escalation in the administration's "anti-media" push, following recent comments from FCC Chairman Brendan Carr, who suggested that broadcasters airing "fake news" could face challenges during license renewals. Trump doubled down on Truth Social, accusing "lowlife" media outlets of wanting the U.S. to "lose the War."

    Iran’s 10-Point Counter-Proposal: No to Temporary Truce

While the U.S. has been pushing for a 45-day interim ceasefire (the "Islamabad Accord") mediated through Pakistan, Tehran has officially dismissed the idea of a temporary pause.

According to the state-run news agency IRNA, Iran has submitted a 10-point counter-proposal that demands a "definitive" and "permanent" end to the conflict. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei stated that a temporary truce would only allow adversaries to "pause and prepare" to resume the war.]

    Iran’s core demands include:

    • A permanent and definitive end to all regional hostilities.

    • The lifting of all sanctions and a formal protocol for safe passage in the Strait of Hormuz.

    • A comprehensive reconstruction plan for damaged infrastructure.

    • Guarantees against any future attacks or "recurrence" of the conflict.

Tehran characterized earlier U.S. demands—including the 15-point plan requiring the dismantling of nuclear sites—as "excessive, unusual, and illogical."

    Civil Unrest and Rising Tolls

    • Pro-Government Rallies: In Tehran, daily pro-government demonstrations continue. Reports describe crowds waving flags and cheering in public squares until 2:00 AM, despite the constant threat of airstrikes and explosions.

    • Anti-War Protests: Conversely, in Tel Aviv, dozens of protesters gathered outside the former U.S. Embassy to demonstrate against the continued expansion of the war into Iran and Lebanon.

    • Attacks on Civilians: A fishing boat in Iran’s Jask port was reportedly attacked by "enemy" forces today, resulting in the deaths of two people. The port is a strategic location near the Gulf of Oman, further highlighting the volatility of regional waters.

    Diplomacy vs. Ultimatums

U.S. officials admit a "big gap" remains between the two nations. While U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff is reportedly utilizing backchannels, the administration is operating from a position of perceived strength rather than compromise.

With the Tuesday 20:00 ET deadline looming, European Council President Antonio Costa reiterated that "escalation will not achieve peace," warning that the Iranian civilian population remains the primary victim of the "blatant" threats to destroy the nation's infrastructure.

    Military Triumphs and Diplomatic Deadlocks

The briefing, which included Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and CIA Director John Ratcliffe, focused heavily on the successful rescue of two U.S. fighter pilots whose aircraft was downed in Iran last Friday. Officials described the mission as a "race against the clock" involving a "deception campaign" to recover the airmen from a mountain crevice before Iranian forces could capture them.

Despite these military successes, diplomatic efforts appear to be at a standstill.

    • Iran’s Response: Tehran has formally rejected the current U.S. ceasefire proposal, calling instead for a "definitive" end to the war and issuing its own list of demands.

    • Monetary Demands: Trump suggested that since the U.S. has "won" militarily, it should be the entity charging tolls for passage through the Strait of Hormuz, though he later appeared to soften that stance in favor of guaranteed free trade.

    • Criticism of Allies: The President directed harsh criticism toward NATO, the UK, Australia, Japan, and South Korea, labeling NATO a "paper tiger" and claiming allies have failed to provide adequate support for the U.S. mission.

Rising Tensions and Alleged War Crimes

As the deadline approaches, the conflict continues to escalate on multiple fronts:

    • Israeli Strikes: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed Israel has destroyed Iran's largest petrochemical plant, asserting that 85% of Iran’s petrochemical exports are now inoperable.

    • Casualties in Israel: In Haifa, rescue teams recovered the bodies of four family members killed by an Iranian ballistic missile strike on a residential building.

    • Targeting Nuclear Sites: Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI) reported that a U.S.-Israeli strike hit a yellowcake production plant in Yazd province, calling it a "clear violation" of the immunity of peaceful nuclear facilities.

    International Outcry

The President's threats against civilian infrastructure have sparked immediate international condemnation. European Council President Antonio Costa warned that diplomacy is the only viable path to peace, noting that the Iranian civilian population would be the primary victims of further escalation.

Legal experts have also raised alarms. Marieke De Hoon, an associate professor of international criminal law, stated that the U.S. is "announcing war crimes blatantly." Under international law, intentional attacks on civilian objectives and the "no quarter" rhetoric—refusing to spare those who intend to surrender—are strictly prohibited.

With only hours remaining until the Tuesday night deadline, the White House maintains that the volume of strikes is "ramping up," leaving the world watching to see if "last-ditch diplomacy" can prevent a total infrastructure collapse in the region.

Trump Lambasts NATO and Pacific Allies

During the hour-and-a-half-long briefing, President Trump directed sharp criticism toward traditional U.S. allies, labeling NATO a "paper tiger." He expressed deep disappointment that the alliance, along with Australia, Japan, and South Korea, has declined to provide military assistance in the ongoing conflict with Iran.

"They didn’t help us," Trump said, specifically pointing to the massive U.S. military presence in Asia as a reason for his frustration. "We’ve got 50,000 soldiers in Japan to protect them from North Korea. We have 45,000 soldiers in South Korea."

The President further singled out the United Kingdom, stating he was "most disappointed" with London. He claimed the British Royal Navy's contribution was hindered because their "two old broken aircraft carriers barely work."

Key Summary of Global Reactions included in the report:

    • NATO: Criticized as ineffective and "paper" for not joining the Iranian mission.

    • Pacific Allies: Questioned for their lack of support despite significant U.S. troop deployments in their regions.

    • Europe: Faced accusations of "ripping off" the U.S. for years, with Trump doubling down on his "America First" stance regarding the costs of the war.

IDF Retreats from Key Southern Lebanon Positions Amid Fierce Hezbollah Resistance

TYRE, Lebanon — High-stakes combat continues to ravage southern Lebanon as the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reportedly withdrew from several contested areas following intense clashes with Hezbollah fighters.

Despite a sustained afternoon of aerial bombardments across the southwestern front, ground operations have met significant hurdles. Reports from the field indicate that while Israeli troops managed to advance to the outskirts of the town of Biyyada, they have been unable to dislodge Hezbollah units from their established positions.

    Strategic Setbacks in Bint Jbeil

The most notable shift occurred in the south-central sector. Military analysts describe "significant trouble" for Israeli forces attempting to secure the strategic stronghold of Bint Jbeil. After several days of incursions, IDF units have retreated from portions of the area, unable to maintain their hold against a barrage of Hezbollah counter-attacks, including the recent deployment of suicide drones and cross-border rocket fire.

Uncertain "Buffer Zone" and Civilian Peril

The Israeli military maintains that its primary objective is the establishment of a "buffer zone" along the border to prevent further attacks on northern Israel. However, the intended depth and scale of this zone remain undefined, leaving residents in a state of constant displacement.

    • Evacuation Orders: New forced displacement threats have been issued for the Nabatieh region, with the IDF warning civilians to flee or face the brunt of incoming strikes.

    • Tactical Resistance: Hezbollah continues to demonstrate its ability to strike Israeli soldiers both within Lebanese territory and across the international border, complicating Israel's efforts to finalize any territorial control.

As the roar of Israeli jets continues to dominate the skies over Tyre and surrounding villages, the humanitarian situation grows increasingly desperate, with the frontline shifting rapidly and no clear end to the hostilities in sight.

    Trump’s Infrastructure Ultimatum

President Trump has set a final deadline of 8:00 PM ET Tuesday. He warns the U.S. will "decimate" every bridge and power plant in Iran within four hours if a deal is not reached.

    Iran's 10-Point Response

    • Formally rejected the U.S. 45-day interim ceasefire
    • Demands a permanent and definitive end to war
    • Calls for the immediate lifting of all sanctions
    • Requires a guaranteed reconstruction plan

    Military & Strategic Escalation

    • Israel claims 85% of Iran's petrochemical exports are inoperable
    • U.S./Israeli strikes hit Tehran airports and Yazd nuclear sites
    • Four Iranian officers killed in Isfahan countering U.S. aircraft

    Civil Unrest & Humanitarian Toll

    • Pro-government rallies continue in Tehran despite airstrikes
    • Anti-war protests held at the former U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv
    • Two civilians killed in "enemy" attack on fishing boat in Jask port

    Diplomacy & Media Crackdown

    • Trump threatens to jail reporters over airmen rescue "leaks"
    • U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff utilizes backchannel diplomacy
    • Legal experts alert that targeting civilian sites constitutes war crimes
