At least 10 members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Sunday in Yazd province, central Iran, according to a report by the semi-official Tasnim News Agency.
Several others were injured in the assault, though the total number of casualties remains unknown.
The attack is part of a broader Israeli operation launched on June 13, during which Israel claims to have targeted and killed around 24 Iranian military officials and nuclear scientists.
This latest strike adds to the growing volatility in the region. Iran has vowed to respond to recent US air raids that reportedly hit nuclear sites, while US President Donald Trump has raised the prospect of regime change in Tehran, deepening concerns of an expanding conflict.
