Kazi Rahima Parvin Iti Expelled from Dinajpur Sadar Upazila Mohila Dal

Kazi Rahima Parvin Iti has been expelled from her position as Joint General Secretary (No. 1) of the Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal, Dinajpur Sadar Upazila branch, for concealing information about her political affiliations. The decision was made by the Dinajpur District Committee of the Mohila Dal.
According to an official letter signed by Dinajpur District Mohila Dal President Zeenat Ara and General Secretary Shahin Sultana Beauty on February 11, 2025, Iti was removed from her position after it was discovered that she had withheld crucial information.
Reports indicate that on October 2, 2022, an official committee list of the Bangladesh Awami League’s Dinajpur Sadar 1 No. Chehelgazi Union branch was issued. This list, signed by Dinajpur Sadar Upazila Awami League President Imdad Sarkar and Acting General Secretary Md. Mominul Islam, included Kazi Rahima Parvin Iti in the 14th position as the Secretary of Information and Research.
Dinajpur District Mohila Dal General Secretary Shahin Sultana Beauty stated that Iti had concealed this dual affiliation while securing her position in the Mohila Dal.
Upon learning of her involvement with the Awami League through confidential sources, the district Mohila Dal took immediate action and expelled her.
She further mentioned that the party is now reviewing the full committee of the Dinajpur Sadar Upazila Mohila Dal to identify any other members who might hold affiliations with rival political groups. If found, appropriate actions will be taken against them as well.
