Hadi Remains Critical: Chief Adviser’s Press Wing- ওসমান হাদির অবস্থা সংকটাপন্ন: প্রধান উপদেষ্টার প্রেস উইং
Bangladesh: Sharif Osman Hadi, who was critically injured in a shooting, remains in an extremely serious condition and is currently undergoing treatment in Singapore, according to the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing.
In a message issued on Wednesday, the press wing said that Singapore’s Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan visited Hadi at the hospital, where he is receiving medical care. Hadi is known as a frontline activist of the July mass uprising and the spokesperson of the Inqilab Mancha.
Later in the night, Vivian Balakrishnan spoke by phone with Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus and briefed him on Hadi’s medical condition.
During the conversation, the Singaporean foreign minister said that Hadi’s condition remains extremely critical.
The press wing said the Chief Adviser has urged the people of Bangladesh to remain calm and requested prayers and supplications for Hadi’s recovery.
Sharif Osman Hadi, convenor of Inqilab Mancha, was campaigning as an independent candidate in the Dhaka-8 constituency.
On Friday afternoon, he was shot by assailants on Box Culvert Road in Old Paltan. After being critically wounded by a gunshot to the head, he was first taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital and later shifted to Evercare Hospital.
On Monday afternoon, Hadi was airlifted to Singapore by air ambulance for advanced treatment. He is accompanied by his brother, along with Bangladeshi doctors and nurses.

গুলিবিদ্ধ শরিফ ওসমান হাদির শারীরিক অবস্থা এখনো অত্যন্ত সংকটাপন্ন। তিনি বর্তমানে সিঙ্গাপুরে চিকিৎসাধীন রয়েছেন বলে জানিয়েছে প্রধান উপদেষ্টার প্রেস উইং।
বুধবার প্রকাশিত এক বার্তায় প্রেস উইং জানায়, সিঙ্গাপুরে চিকিৎসাধীন জুলাই গণ-অভ্যুত্থানের সম্মুখভাগের যোদ্ধা ও ইনকিলাব মঞ্চের মুখপাত্র শরিফ ওসমান হাদিকে দেখতে হাসপাতালে যান দেশটির পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী ভিভিয়ান বালাকৃষ্ণান।
পরে রাতে ভিভিয়ান বালাকৃষ্ণান ফোনে বাংলাদেশের অন্তর্বর্তী সরকারের প্রধান উপদেষ্টা অধ্যাপক মুহাম্মদ ইউনূসকে হাদির চিকিৎসা পরিস্থিতি সম্পর্কে অবহিত করেন। তিনি প্রধান উপদেষ্টাকে জানান, ওসমান হাদির অবস্থা অত্যন্ত সংকটাপন্ন।
প্রেস উইং জানায়, প্রধান উপদেষ্টা দেশবাসীকে শান্ত থাকার আহ্বান জানিয়েছেন এবং হাদির সুস্থতার জন্য দোয়া ও প্রার্থনা করার অনুরোধ করেছেন।
ইনকিলাব মঞ্চের আহ্বায়ক শরিফ ওসমান হাদি ঢাকা-৮ আসনে স্বতন্ত্র প্রার্থী হিসেবে নির্বাচনী প্রচারণা চালাচ্ছিলেন। গত শুক্রবার দুপুরে পুরানা পল্টনের বক্স কালভার্ট সড়কে দুর্বৃত্তদের গুলিতে তিনি গুরুতর আহত হন। মাথায় গুলিবিদ্ধ অবস্থায় প্রথমে তাঁকে ঢাকা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে নেওয়া হয়, পরে স্থানান্তর করা হয় এভারকেয়ার হাসপাতালে।
উন্নত চিকিৎসার জন্য গত সোমবার দুপুরে এয়ার অ্যাম্বুলেন্সে করে ওসমান হাদিকে সিঙ্গাপুরে নেওয়া হয়। তাঁর সঙ্গে রয়েছেন তাঁর ভাইসহ বাংলাদেশের চিকিৎসক ও নার্সরা।
