Greek Police Investigate Death of ‘Tehran’ Producer Dana Eden as Suspected Suicide
Greek authorities are treating the death of Dana Eden, the Israeli producer and co-creator of the hit drama series Tehran, as a suspected suicide. Eden, 52, was found unresponsive in her hotel room in Athens on Sunday.
According to police, Eden’s relative discovered her after repeated attempts to contact her failed. Investigators reportedly found pills at the scene, and a coroner observed bruising on her neck. Officials said the evidence and testimonies collected so far indicate that the death is likely a suicide.

Donna and Shula Productions, the international company Eden co-founded with producer Shula Spiegel, issued a statement expressing deep sorrow.
“This is a moment of great sorrow for the family, friends, and colleagues,” the statement read. The company asked the public and media to respect the privacy of Eden’s family during this difficult time.
