Myanmar’s conflict deepened after a deadly military air attack on Mrauk-U’s general hospital in Rakhine, killing at least 31 people, according to an aid worker at the scene.
The strike occurred just weeks before junta-organized elections set for December 28, which the military claims will ease unrest.
Rebel forces, however, have vowed to block voting in the areas they control, prompting intensified military operations, including frequent air assaults. The hospital blast left dozens injured, and rescuers worked through the night amid chaos. Witnesses said numerous bodies lay wrapped outside the facility, reflecting the worsening humanitarian crisis.

রাখাইন হাসপাতালে হামলায় ৩১ জন নিহত
রাখাইনের ম্রাউক-উ জেনারেল হাসপাতালে সামরিক বিমান হামলায় অন্তত ৩১ জন নিহত হওয়ায় মিয়ানমারের সংঘাত আরও উত্তপ্ত হয়ে উঠেছে।
ঘটনাস্থলে থাকা এক ত্রাণকর্মী জানান, নির্বাচনের আগে সেনাবাহিনী আক্রমণ বাড়ানোয় এই মর্মান্তিক ঘটনা ঘটেছে।
