
In a four-day visit to Dhaka, UN Secretary-General António Guterres has arrived at the invitation of Dr Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Advisor of the Interim Government.
On Thursday (March 13), the UN Secretary-General arrived in Dhaka, where he was warmly welcomed by Foreign Affairs Advisor Md Touhid Hossain at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
This marks his second visit to Bangladesh after a gap of nearly seven years. The main focus of the discussions during the UN Secretary-General's visit will be the Rohingya refugee crisis. Additionally, human rights issues will also be emphasized, according to sources.
