
In order to maintain law and order and bring terrorists under the law, the government has decided to conduct 'Operation Devil Hunt' with coordination among joint forces.
The decision was announced through a press release from the Ministry of Home Affairs on Saturday (February 8).
The press release, signed by Faisal Hasan, Director of the Ministry’s Public Relations Department, stated that a meeting was held at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Saturday after a terrorist attack on students and the public in Gazipur on Friday (February 7) night.
In the meeting, it was decided to carry out 'Operation Devil Hunt' with coordination among the law enforcement agencies to maintain law and order in the affected area and bring the terrorists under the law. The operation will begin from Saturday in Gazipur and will be carried out nationwide.
Additionally, detailed information about 'Operation Devil Hunt' will be provided through a press briefing on Sunday (February 9), according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
It is worth mentioning that on Friday night in Gazipur, several people were severely injured in an attack at the residence of Awami League leader and former Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque.
