Hadi to Be Laid to Rest Beside Kazi Nazrul Islam- হাদির কবি নজরুলের পাশে দাফন
Bangladesh: The body of Inkilab Mancha convener Sharif Osman Hadi has arrived in Bangladesh. His remains were brought to Dhaka on Friday evening aboard a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight from Singapore.
According to a statement issued by Inkilab Mancha, the body was initially scheduled to be taken directly from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to the Central Mosque of Dhaka University for public tributes. However, the plan was later revised, and the body will now be taken to Dhaka University on Saturday.
In line with the wishes of his family, Sharif Osman Hadi will be laid to rest beside National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. His funeral prayer is scheduled to be held after Zohr prayers at Manik Mia Avenue.
A verified post by Inkilab Mancha said the vehicle carrying Hadi’s body departed from the airport towards a mortuary, after which party activists were instructed to gather at Shahbagh.
The organisation urged students and supporters to continue their movement peacefully and in an orderly manner, cautioning against any attempt by groups to infiltrate or provoke violence. It also clarified that there would be no public opportunity to view the body and requested prayers for the deceased.
Earlier, the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing confirmed that namaz-e-janaza (the funeral prayer) of Sharif Osman Hadi will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm at the South Plaza of the National Parliament complex. Attendees have been requested not to carry bags or heavy items, while drone flights in and around the area have been strictly prohibited.

ইনকিলাব মঞ্চের আহ্বায়ক শরিফ ওসমান হাদির মরদেহ দেশে পৌঁছেছে। শুক্রবার সন্ধ্যায় সিঙ্গাপুর থেকে বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইনসের একটি ফ্লাইটে করে তাঁর মরদেহ ঢাকায় আনা হয়।
ইনকিলাব মঞ্চের পক্ষ থেকে জানানো হয়, মরদেহটি প্রথমে হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর থেকে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কেন্দ্রীয় মসজিদে নেওয়ার কথা থাকলেও পরে সিদ্ধান্ত পরিবর্তন করা হয়েছে। এখন মরদেহটি আগামীকাল শনিবার ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে নেওয়া হবে।
পরিবারের সিদ্ধান্ত অনুযায়ী জাতীয় কবি কাজী নজরুল ইসলামের পাশে শরিফ ওসমান হাদিকে সমাহিত করা হবে। মানিক মিয়া অ্যাভিনিউতে জোহরের নামাজের পর তাঁর জানাজা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।
ইনকিলাব মঞ্চের ভেরিফায়েড পোস্টে বলা হয়, মরদেহ বহনকারী গাড়ি বিমানবন্দর থেকে হিমাগারের উদ্দেশ্যে রওনা হয়েছে। পরে সংগঠনের কর্মীরা শাহবাগে অবস্থান নেবেন।
বিবৃতিতে ছাত্র-জনতা ও সমর্থকদের শান্তিপূর্ণ ও শৃঙ্খলাপূর্ণ আন্দোলন চালিয়ে যাওয়ার আহ্বান জানানো হয়েছে। কোনো গোষ্ঠী যাতে অনুপ্রবেশ ঘটিয়ে সহিংসতা সৃষ্টি করতে না পারে, সে বিষয়ে সতর্ক থাকার অনুরোধ জানানো হয়। একই সঙ্গে জানানো হয়, মরদেহ দেখার কোনো সুযোগ থাকবে না এবং সবার কাছে শহিদের জন্য দোয়া চাওয়া হয়েছে।
এর আগে প্রধান উপদেষ্টার প্রেস উইং জানায়, শনিবার দুপুর ২টায় জাতীয় সংসদ ভবনের দক্ষিণ প্লাজায় শরিফ ওসমান হাদির জানাজা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। জানাজায় অংশগ্রহণকারীদের ব্যাগ বা ভারী কোনো বস্তু বহন না করার অনুরোধ জানানো হয়েছে। সংসদ ভবন ও আশপাশের এলাকায় ড্রোন ওড়ানো সম্পূর্ণ নিষিদ্ধ থাকবে।
