
A cold wave is currently affecting six districts of the country, and the weather office forecasts that the cold sensation will increase across the country, particularly in the northern regions, tomorrow (Sunday).
The weather office has issued an alert regarding the cold wave. Compared to the last few days, temperatures have dropped nationwide.
According to the weather office, on Saturday (February 8), a mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Dinajpur, Moulvibazar, and Chuadanga, which may continue until Sunday.
Weather expert Abul Kalam Mallik mentioned that the likelihood of another cold wave during this season is very low after this phase. However, isolated cold waves may occur in places like Pabna or parts of the northern region. Moreover, after the 10th of February, the temperature is expected to gradually rise. These two days will have a stronger cold feel compared to the last week.
The lowest temperature recorded on Saturday was 8.5°C in Srimangal. The lowest temperature in Dhaka today is 15.6°C.
