
The 42nd Annual General Meeting of the Dinajpur Press Club was successfully held on February 20 at the club auditorium.
The meeting commenced at 10 AM and continued until late at night, bringing together journalists, administrative officials, and distinguished guests.
The session was presided over by the President of Dinajpur Press Club, Swaroop Bakshi Bacchu. The event began with recitations from the Holy Quran and the Bhagavad Gita, followed by a minute of silence in memory of those injured and martyred in the mass uprising of 2024.
Tribute was also paid to deceased members, and prayers were offered for the recovery of ailing members.
Several former Vice Presidents of Dinajpur Press Club, including Abu Bakkar Siddique, Helal Shikdar, Sajedur Rahman Chil, and Shah Alam Shahi, delivered congratulatory speeches, appreciating the club’s progress and contributions.
General Secretary Golam Nabi Dulal presented the financial report for the period from April 28, 2024, to February 20, 2025. According to the report, total revenue stood at BDT 494,442, sourced from:
